About

“We’re thinking of giving it up” the guys said to Pam Case.

It was a monthly construction and property networking event set up by a few people from companies in those sectors.

The numbers were dwindling down to between half and a full dozen.

Pam was one of the regulars. So she said “What if I help you out to see if we can get more people to attend?”

And she did. It would eventually get 50-100 people each month. Then the founders lost the venue. So they offered the event to Pam to fully take over.

Now Pam was running another network with Ian Denny. Monthly events up to 150 people in the city centre.

So they teamed up…and ran 2 events before Covid and lockdowns mothballed it.

The Construction & Property event went to sleep.

The other network, purely because many were paying a monthly standing order, went online.

Mistakes were made. Lots of them. Slowly but surely, they found a formula that worked. And developed an app.

Richard Howard, a lettings agent, was part of that other group and saw what happened.

So him and Ian got together and invested in getting a version of the app developed and hatched a plan to bring it back to life, firstly online. And then with the return of the in-person events.

Pam, now running a busy and successful online LinkedIn training business is still part of the team, but mostly as your monthly event host.
